about
Emma and Russ developed these arrangements over the course of many spring evenings, after chowing down on awesome dinners.

They were recorded in one half of an hour on the picturesque afternoon of June 6th, 2009– in an open aired bathroom, next to a clawfoot bathtub, as dandelion seeds blew slowly outside.

These songs have the intended-future of release on 7'' vinyl, both because they'd sound best coming from a turntable and to pay homage to the format they originally appeared. Money and licensing issues prevent the prediction of when that will happen, so now they are available to hear here, radio jukebox style.

credits
released 01 October 2009
'I Have A Boyfriend' was written by Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich, and "Token" (Hank Medriss, Phil Margo, Jay Siegal, Mitchell Margo). 'What Does A Girl Do?' was written by Townshend. 'He's A Rebel' was written by Gene Pitney.
'Give Him A Great Big Kiss' was written by George Morton.

Instructions for streaming audio licensing of old cover songs are quite convoluted and unclear, so we want to make it known that we've sent e-mails to the appropriate agencies attempting to ascertain where and how to give credit/payment and at this time have received no reply.

The recording/mixing/mastering and cover design was done by Andrew Barton.
